Terms & Conditions
Swim It Forward is a charitable initiative by Swim Australia for the benefit of those who cannot afford regular swimming lessons. Swim it Forward's mission is to save lives by making learn to swim lessons accessible to as many children as possible across Australia.
1. An eligible applicant must not already be currently enrolled in swimming lessons.
2. A current Health Care Card issued by Services Australia must be held and provided at any time upon request.
3. A maximum of up to four (4) dependants can be nominated to receive subsidised swimming lessons per application.
4. The fund collection is managed by the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF).
5. The selected Swim School must be a registered member with Swim Australia, found at https://swimsafer.org.au/find-a-swim-school
6. Swimming Lessons are not redeemable for cash.
7. Approved payment for swimming lessons will be directly distributed to the selected Swim School by Swim Australia.
8. Days and times for Swimming Lessons are Subject to Swim School availability.
9. Bookings must be made in advance and will be subject to the terms and conditions of the selected Swim School.
10. Expiry date for swimming lessons will be subject to the terms and conditions of the selected Swim School.
11. Some Swim Schools may offer a competency assessment prior to commencing the first lesson.
12. Average duration of swimming lessons are 30 minutes.
13. Swimming lessons cannot be guaranteed for the fixed period of a term or year.
14. By submitting the application form, permission is granted for the dependant to potentially be included in multimedia material.
Swim Australia cannot guarantee that completing this form will result in successful qualification for funding, and your application will be pending approval. Swim Australia agrees to keep all submitted applications confidential.
